When no one is listening, write it down.

From October-November 2005, photographer Richard Misrach documented hurricane-inspired graffiti in post-Katrina New Orleans.

His new book, Destroy This Memory, is comprised of these haunting, stark and sometimes humorous photos. Misrach's royalties from the book are being donated to the Make it Right Foundation, which continues the rebuilding of the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. Feel free to buy me a copy. It will be your good deed for the day.
